Mr. James Alan and Mr. Harry Yoo formed a partnership for teaching English, math and science to elementary and secondary school students, with conviction that what’s needed most in today’s education system is small classroom setting led by highly-qualified and motivated teachers. Education must go beyond knowledge transaction – it must meet students’ unique desires and needs, be able to motivate and challenge students, and foster trust and relationship among teachers and students. Business Owners
Mr. James holds History and Education degrees from The University of Pennsylvania, and leads and manages English program and classes. Mr. James has extensive experience in teaching at elementary, secondary and higher education levels – with consistent and impeccable results and reputation. Mr. James has authored numerous English study books, and is a certified teacher of Arizona Department of Education. Mr. Harry holds Engineering and Business (MBA) degrees from Stanford University and New York University, and is responsible for overall management and operation of Boston Academy. Mr. Harry teaches and manages math & science programs and classes. Prior to establishing Boston Academy, Mr. Harry had built long-term successful career in global corporations, including working at Fortune-100 companies and holding executive management positions.
